How to Clean Your Jewelry

Keep your favorite pieces looking beautiful with these simple at-home cleaning methods for natural pearls, genuine stones, and metal jewelry.

Natural Pearls

Use a gentle touch to refresh the natural luster of your pearls.

  1. Mix a small amount of mild soap with lukewarm water.
  2. Dampen a soft cloth with the mixture and gently clean each pearl.
  3. Use a second clean, damp cloth to remove any soap.
  4. Lay the pearls flat on a soft towel until completely dry.
For pearl strands, clean gently without pulling or stretching the string.

Genuine Stones

A quick, gentle wash helps remove lotion, oils, and everyday buildup.

  1. Add a few drops of mild soap to a bowl of lukewarm water.
  2. Gently clean around the stone and setting with a soft cloth or soft brush.
  3. Rinse with clean water.
  4. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth and allow the piece to finish air-drying.
Delicate or porous stones may require special care. When unsure, clean with a soft, damp cloth or contact us for guidance.

Metals & Plated Finishes

Choose the method that matches your jewelry’s material and finish.

Gold & Silver Use mild soapy water and finish with a soft polishing cloth when needed.
Gold PVD & Plated Clean lightly with a soft cloth and mild soapy water without vigorous rubbing.
Stainless & Titanium Steel Wash with mild soap and water, rinse well, and dry completely.
